MAREVA-FUI is a collaborative research and development project aimed at optimising the BlueRing concept, overcoming the final technological hurdles and launching the first BlueRing construction by 2012.

BlueRing, which has been awarded the French green-building standard, is positioned in a market with global potential, offering a new solution to the growing demands for marina space from a sustainable development angle. The concept encourages efficiency in use of resources, regeneration of coastal areas and, thanks to its compact format, can help to preserve the natural environment. The ambitious yet realistic project has received a FUI (inter-ministerial funding body) grant which supports collaborative development of new products likely to reach the market in the short or medium term.
